Better something... Maputo, Chimoio, Nhamatanda, Beira, Nhamatanda again...

Well... out of the capital it gets more difficult to reach internet, write nicely about each town we have visited, upload pictures and videos.... So this is the right moment to put aside my struggle for perfection and use the concept of the blog "Better something than nothing" (of course, I still hope to change, improve, supplement and make it perfect in the future... some future... Maybe African future? :-)

Briefly: finally we have got the money for the travel, booked the tickets and on early Saturday's morning got to the bus station in Maputo (junta). Our end destination was Chimoio (the fifth largest town in Mozambique), where we stayed for a couple of days and finally got the taste of real Africa... From Chimoio we moved on to a small village Lamego (there is one of the teachers training colleges - EPF Nhamatanda), and then for half a day we have visited Beira (the second largest city in Mozambique).

Tomorrow we are planning to get to Chiuta in Tete province, where is situated teachers training college in which I am going to stay and work for another six months...

To be perfected... :-)

This is the usual way of carrying things... The sense of balance is amazing! I cannot even carry a book for few meters, and here even children are capable of carrying anything on their heads for a longer distances than just 5 meters...

I suggest You don't worry su much about "perfecting" the words to describe your feelings and findings in Africa. I'd rather spend more time concentrating on the things that actually inspire these feelings.
